ABOUT THE ROLE

As an HR Advisor, you will get in-depth generalist exposure and experience across our portfolio of clients and the contexts they operate in.  You will bring knowledge of HR management, organizational change, employment law, payroll and benefits, performance management, and the employee life cycle to complete projects and offer guidance and advisory to support the functional HR needs of our clients. You’ll work together with, and report to the Forward Level HR Director to partner with leaders and key people within our clients’ organizations in a consultancy capacity.

This role is for a strategic problem solver that leads with empathy and isn’t afraid of a tough conversation. You will provide ad-hoc advisory to help business leaders address day-to-day issues. Your ability to make authentic connections will be leveraged across clients in multiple industries. Staying up to date in the trends that impact the employment context will ensure you provide a level of service delivery that is second to none.

Your work and ideas will help us build and evolve the people and workplace culture of our client’s organizations. Our team builds measurable marketing and HR strategies that move our clients forward and we deliver innovative programs and initiatives to support them. We’re obsessed with the human experience and work to design clever solutions for our end users that are seamless, practical, and technology forward.

Communication is paramount in this role. You will have daily interactions with our clients, the Forward Level marketing team, and external stakeholders such as benefits or HRIS platforms/vendors. This role works in a combination of onsite at our Calgary Beltline (11 Ave SW) office, and remotely to meet the needs of the business and of our clients during M – F business hours.
